Atlanta Opera lovers rejoice because I have a special treat for you.

THE MET: LIVE IN HD SERIES is bringing live opera to Atlanta fans! The Metropolitan Opera’s Emmy and Peabody award-winning series of live performances will feature Zadonai’s “FRANCESCA DA RIMINI” on Saturday, March 16 @ 12:00PM at the following theaters:

AMC Fork and Screen Buckhead
AMC Barrett Commons
Cinemark Tinseltown
Regal North Point
AMC Discover Mills

FRANCESCA DA RIMINI Synopsis:

Zandonai’s compelling opera, inspired by an episode from Dante’s Inferno, returns in the Met’s ravishingly beautiful production, last seen in 1986. Dramatic soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek and tenor Marcello Giordani are the doomed lovers. Marco Armiliato conducts.
