People often ask me what I recall about my first trip to LA and the answer always sparks some very interesting convos.
It’s not the surfer dudes
Or the ridiculously good food
Or the various waitresses and valets waiting for their big break
Not even the gorgeous beach.
My fave part about that trip was getting to attend a taping of the Jimmy Kimmel Live show.
I didn’t plan to attend the show but as I was strolling down the street, I noticed a long line of people standing outside the building and since I’m nosy by nature,I stopped to ask why they were all standing in the rain.
When they told me why,I immediately got in line and lucky for me, I was one of the few people on the waiting list who actually made it inside.
Andy Garcia was one of the guests that day.
I honestly don’t remember all the details about that evening because it felt like one gigantic dream.
To this day,I still can’t believe I was actually part of Jimmy’s live audience and since photography is prohibited,I don’t even have any proof of this ever taking place 🙁
