Being Bilingual Is The New Black

The other day a friend and I were talking about the importance of being bilingual because we live in a city where a rather huge portion of the population barely speaks any English. I lamented that I want to learn another language but I have a hard time learning new languages and my friend laughed. Learning new languages comes fairly easily to him. When I first saw the prizes being offered in the Amazon – Win With Friends Sweepstakes,my mind flashed back to that famous Oprah Winfrey episode where every member of the audience got a car and in my mind,I was saying:
