It’s that time of the year again, time for the long awaited: Bud Light Port Paradise 5. If you’re reading this page,chances are you want to be on that boat and by gosh I’m going to work my fingertips off to find ways to get you on it.
There are tons of ways to get on one of the 2012 Bud Light Port Paradise 5 ships – crewing, voting for the bands, texting, attending events and so on and on this page, I’ll be listing all opportunities as I find them. I’ll also include what state they apply to in case they are restricted. So chill out, open an ice cold Bud Light and let me do all the hard work for you and get you on that party boat!

I haven’t found anything for TX yet but if I do,I’ll post it on this page..in the meantime,you guys need to “stalk” your local radio stations’ websites and the supermarkets plus local liquor stores in the coming weeks and see if you find anything about the local BL PP5 giveaways
sports radio 610 is the only one giving away the prize as far as I can tell from Aug 20-23
Texas isn’t allowed by law to have bar events, they can only give this trip away via radio stations, etc. You can thank Rick Perry for that law. So if you want to catch a bar event you need to go to Oklahoma or Louisiana and catch on there.
wow seriously no wonder it’s been so hard to find events lol! ….I just want to party on that boat dammit!!!

I’ll definitely share if I find anything BUT I’m discovering that some distributors are totally clueless about this whole port paradise thing..or maybe they are just really good actors at acting clueless but either way,they have no clue what I’m talking about when I call:(
Having no luck finding anything here in Wisconsin. In the Green Bay area or Milwaukee area. I get no answers after repeated requests from Dean Distrubting here in Green Bay. Maybe your luck would be better? Even willing to travel to other parts of state if need be.
My understanding is that some distributors are just now rolling out promos that will run through the end of August so be patient and call up your local distributors at least once a week until they give you information – I did that with my local distributor and today I finally got through to someone who actually gave me information.As usual,if I find anything it will be here:)

Diana,I have no clue which one in particular you’re referring to..if you can drive over the state line to an event,I’m pretty sure no one would object to that BUT if it’s an online entry or a text entry then things get tricky as those are strictly for residents of particular states and you’d be required to show proof of residency.

Anyone still have the website for the buy-on from last year? It sure seems like they will have to do that in the absence of texts, snap tags, and codes… how will they ever give away 4,000 trips with the few ways to win there are out there?
They are doing more bar events and you also have to remember they have all those bands playing as opposed to just one band so giving away over 4k (or whatever number) won’t be hard.That said I have no clue where and when the buy-ins will take place but as soon as I know anything,I’ll post the details and link

Per your state laws,CA is prohibited from participating in the crewing thing but I have heard that y’all get a chance to buy in at the end of the crewing…not sure if that’s true or not and sadly I don’t have any details about the buy in if it’s true.
